Kellie Ady and her team at the Cherry Creek School District are assessing interest in a statewide, Colorado Digital Storytelling Project. In order to address some COPPA concerns as well as a mixed device/platform learning environment they’ve chosen WeVideo as the video creation platform. They would be willing to explore offering statewide consortium pricing vs. district-only or classroom-only pricing for Colorado. While the project’s main focus will be on 4th grade Colorado History, any grade level is welcome to participate. Ideas for other levels and content areas will be suggested/provided. Final licensing numbers for WeVideo are needed by mid-June, but for districts, schools, or classrooms that commit by January 20th, 2015, WeVideo will include the rest of the school year for free (January 2015 – June 2015).
