NEW COURSE – The Future of Education Starts February 12th – This course is designed to prepare future educators/administrators for the classroom and school, they will inherit! It starts with a history of education and how blended, adaptive, and personalized learning are coming to the forefront in learning.  It then explores new and emerging technologies, along with their current and future impact on education. Throughout the course, students will explore a wide range of career possibilities in the education field and evaluate both the promises and pitfalls of technology in education.  To register for this course, please click here.


Educational Leadership in the 21st Century – Starts February 12th – Educational Leadership in the 21st Century provides an interactive e-learning experience to support professional learning practices and plans with staff and administrators. In this course, participants explore and discuss school leadership in our students’ technological 21st century world. School leaders explore examples of best practices, examine leadership behaviors, and develop strategies to better support their teachers. They follow two administrators who work together to better use technology to support teachers and improve student achievement. Participants discuss ideas and strategies and apply them to their own practice. PMIEF – Project Management Foundations – Starts February 12th – More and more youth are engaged in projects: from long-term in-class projects incorporated into project-based learning experiences; projects for electives, such as yearbook; to out-of-school youth development projects, such as student competitions. Indeed, some youth may spend more time involved in out-of-school projects than in-school projects. These out-of-school endeavors help students develop critical 21st century skills through meaningful collaborative experiences—preparing them with essential life and career skills.  To register for this course, please click here.


ART – You Can Bring ART into Your Classroom – Starts February 12th – In this course, you’ll explore the works of several contemporary artists working with a variety of techniques. You’ll experiment with these artists techniques, ideas, and concepts by creating artworks of your own, inspired by their work. These experimental art projects will inspire the development of a lesson that relates to your curriculum – language arts, history, social studies, etc. Get ready to play with new ideas, create, have fun, and talk with other students about the process of making art!  To register for this course, please click here.
