Becoming a Facilitating Teacher in Today’s World – Starts August 56h – This six-week e-course is designed for educators who want to facilitate an online course or offer a blended experience that includes online work to enhance student learning. Educational Leadership in the 21st Century – Starts August 5th – Educational Leadership in the 21st Century provides an interactive e-learning experience to support professional learning practices and plans with staff and administrators. In this course, participants explore and discuss school leadership in our students’ technological 21st century world. School leaders explore examples of best practices, examine leadership behaviors, and develop strategies to better support their teachers. They follow two administrators who work together to better use technology to support teachers and improve student achievement. Participants discuss ideas and strategies and apply them to their own practice. Designing Blended Learning – Anytime and Anyplace – Starts August 5th – Designing Blended Learning is an e-learning course for teachers that explains and demonstrates blended learning with interactive activities and locally relevant classroom examples. The course helps teachers transition to creating blended learning experiences. It provides the background rationale, planning strategies, and suggested technology tools. The Future of Education – Starts August 5th – This course is designed to prepare future educators/administrators for the classroom and school, they will inherit! It starts with a history of education and how blended, adaptive, and personalized learning are coming to the forefront in learning.  It then explores new and emerging technologies, along with their current and future impact on education. Student Engagement with One-to-One – Starts August 5th – This course will introduce educators to student engagement, one of the most powerful factors affecting student achievement. Participants will explore highly effective instructional strategies in one-to-one learning environments, transforming current instructional units to better engage students by reworking unit content, redefining student work products and reflecting on teaching and learning processes.  Learn to identify the characteristics of engaged learners, assess levels of student engagement, and reflect upon your teaching practices to better engage students. Thinking Critically with Data – Starts August 5th – Thinking Critically With Data is an interactive e-learning course that examines critical thinking with a focus on data analysis in our information-rich world. In this course, teachers explore practical skills and strategies to draw on when teaching students to think critically about the information around them. Teachers will understand how to design student projects and assessments that address critical thinking skills when collecting and analyzing data. Additionally, they will see how technology can support students collection, organization, and presentation of data. The course also offers practical tips for implementing projects that ask students to think critically with data. Show Me the Money – Writing Winning Grants – Starts August 5th – This six-week online asynchronous course provides a structured framework and run entirely online for educators wanting to learn how to write clear, concise, and competitive grants. Project-Based Approaches – Starts August 5th – Using specific classroom scenarios, teachers explore the characteristics and benefits of Project-Based Learning (PBL). Throughout the Intel® Teach – Project-Based Approaches course, teachers consider their own teaching practice as they follow a teacher new to project-based learning who discusses strategies with a mentor teacher. Planning and project design modules guide teachers through organizing the curriculum, the classroom, and students for successful 21st century projects. The assessment module demonstrates strategies for assessing students’ 21st century skills throughout an open-ended project.
