Moving into Mobile Learning  Moving into Mobile Learning is an introductory e-learning course designed for teachers. It explains and demonstrates how to implement mobile learning with interactive activities and locally relevant classroom examples. This first of a two level course helps teachers transition to mobile learning using background research, planning strategies, and suggested technology apps and online tools. Creativity in the Mobile Classroom  Creativity in the Mobile Classroom is an e-learning course for teachers/administrators that explains and demonstrates the development of creative thinking skills through a personalized, mobile learning environment. The course helps participants transition to a personalized learning environment with background research, planning strategies, and suggested technology apps and online tools. It offers suggestions for assessing student learning with mobile devices and managing a mobile learning environment.  This course builds upon concepts introduced in the first course, “Moving into Mobile Learning”.  It is recommended that participants complete the introductory course prior to taking the advanced course, unless they have already attained prior skills through mobile learning experiences.  To register for this course, please click here.


Curate, Collaborate, and Create: A Wealth of Resources Curate, Collaborate, and Create: A Wealth of Resources is a three to four week, asynchronous, Internet-based course. It will present an overview of DigiEducate and provide instruction on locating Content Experts’ online educational resources and integrating them effectively into instructional activities to support student learning. Educators will learn how to create an Integration Plan and develop strategies for using technology in their own instructional settings.  To register for this class, please click here.


Becoming a Facilitating Teacher in Today’s World  This six-week e-course is designed for educators who want to facilitate an online course or offer a blended experience that includes online work to enhance student learning. The information, resources and strategies offered in this course will help teachers use their newly acquired online facilitation skills to take their teaching to a higher level.

Course resources and activities will encourage deep reflection and discussion about creating successful learning communities, promoting collaboration, and enhancing instructional techniques. Inquiry in the Science Classroom  Inquiry in the Science Classroom is an e-learning course for teachers that will give an in-depth explanation and demonstration of the inquiry process. Using interactive activities and locally relevant classroom examples, this course is more than just for science teachers.  It is a course for all teachers who would like to incorporate inquiry within their curriculum areas. The course will build a foundation for inquiry and provide the rationale and research basis, common misconceptions, and specific strategies for inquiry as part of any science learning, regardless of the science discipline. It will promote best practices for improving scientific inquiry and will help both the teacher with weak science inquiry background but it will also reinforce teachers more experienced with inquiry.  To register for this course, please click here.


PMIEF – Introduction into Project Management  In this course, you will use project management techniques and other project-based learning strategies to create engaging learning for your students. You will finish by creating a unit of instruction that integrates project management techniques in a learning project.

You’ll learn all these skills by creating, perfecting, and sharing your original project-based lesson plan. We’ll work collaboratively to give each other feedback and suggestions on each other’s projects.  To register for this course, please click here.
