It explains and demonstrates how to implement mobile learning with interactive activities and locally relevant classroom examples. This first of a two level course helps teachers transition to mobile learning using background research, planning strategies, and suggested technology apps and online tools. Creativity in the Mobile Classroom – Starts December 1st – Creativity in the Mobile Classroom is an e-learning course for teachers/administrators that explains and demonstrates the development of creative thinking skills through a personalized, mobile learning environment. The course helps participants transition to a personalized learning environment with background research, planning strategies, and suggested technology apps and online tools. Curate, Collaborate, and Create:  A Wealth of Resources – Starts December 1st –  Curate, Collaborate, and Create: A Wealth of Resources is a three to four week, asynchronous, Internet-based course. It will present an overview of DigiEducate and provide instruction on locating Content Experts’ online educational resources and integrating them effectively into instructional activities to support student learning. Educators will learn how to create an Integration Plan and develop strategies for using technology in their own instructional settings.  To register for this course, please click here.


NEW COURSE – Show Me the Money–Writing Winning Grants – Starts December 1st – This six-week online asynchronous course provides a structured framework and run entirely online for educators wanting to learn how to write clear, concise, and competitive grants. PMIEF–Project Management Foundations – Starts December 1st – More and more youth are engaged in projects: from long-term in-class projects incorporated into project-based learning experiences; projects for electives, such as yearbook; to out-of-school youth development projects, such as student competitions. Indeed, some youth may spend more time involved in out-of-school projects than in-school projects. Designing Blended Learning – Anytime and Anyplace – Starts December 1st – Designing Blended Learning is an e-learning course for teachers that explains and demonstrates blended learning with interactive activities and locally relevant classroom examples. The course helps teachers transition to creating blended learning experiences. It provides the background rationale, planning strategies, and suggested technology tools. ART–Your Can Bring ART Into Your Teaching – Starts December 1st – In this course, you’ll explore the works of several contemporary artists working with a variety of techniques. You’ll experiment with these artists techniques, ideas, and concepts by creating artworks of your own, inspired by their work.
